tunze 3155 set up....questions

First on the pump chord, one of the chords is ribbed and the other is smooth, which chord is positive or negative?

(I purchased 2 units)

second, I seem to be missing screws on one of the units. It is missing 2 of the long screws with the really fat heads.

Third, the piece that attaches to the rails with the claw type hand. I can't get any screws to hold on to that.

Fourth, the plastic clip that holds the hose, I have tried and tried and can't get the screw to go through both ends of the clip. Either way, I have nothing to attach it to because it attaches to the claw and I can't get it to hold.

also, do I need a check valve?

your help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi saltyESQ,

I would be surprised if the correct parts are not supplied more likely the wrong configuration. I have a link here from a previous poster that may help with set up

For missing parts we can happily supply please contact Rvitk from this forum if purchased in the USA.

The wiring connection choice is not critical to create the circuit both ways will work.

No check valve is required, siphoning will be an issue if the top up water level is higher then the source being supplied.

hope this helps

Best Regards
Graeme
