Tunze 5017 Controller malfunction

I just bought a used Tunze osmolator, and the controller is having many issues.

On the controller where the power cord plugs in, I can wiggle it (very slightly), or if gets moved around at all, all lights begin flashing, pump turns on for "x" amount of time, or until alarm sounds. I have also went to check on it, and the unit has been off, while still plugged in...? Just have to give the cord a shake and it turns back on. Not a very trustworthy top off set-up!
I know that the osmolator is top of the line for ATO, so hopefully I can start trusting this product.

Any ideas, or suggestions on where to get a good deal on a new controller?

It may just need a new power supply or some work on the power supply connection, it sounds like these are corroded or damaged. I won't be back in my office until the 24th, I am stuck in Newark and hoping to get to Germany soon. If you can spare some time, I would suggest sending it with the pump and power supply and include a phone number and return address and I will get to it when I return. Worst case I will discount a new unit. My warehouse manager is recieving shipments while I am gone-

Just curious:
What is the typical turn around for this? I am planning a trip coming up, and need to know if I should figure out a temporary ATO system. Let me know if you can. Thanks so much.

It was sent back Friday, the only issue I found was the power supply and it was replaced.
