Tunze 5017 top off

Help My top off just stopped working. I am getting a pulsing yellow light and the pump pulses for about a second. Is it the pump? It has be installed for two years with no problems? I have ordered another pump just in case I have checked the power connector and it is good not been in water.

What else can I check.

It is likely either the pump or corrosion at the pump connection. I would not run it in this condition, it could burn it out. How old is the controller and the pump?

Two and a half years on both. I have taken the pump out and ordered a new one. Just want to know if it could be the controller. Or how to check it?

Really the only way is to send it in, we can then hook it to a diagnostic computer, otherwise the new pump will give us an answer.

Well I got the new pump and it still does the same thing. I get a flashing yellow light on the pump on indicator. All connections are clean. I can activate the level high light and get the alarm. I am leaving for a long vacation over Christmas and I am desperate, so I have ordered a new one. Can I send this one some where to get checked??

Yes, and odds are very good I could get your original back to you in time, I usually complete a repair within a day of getting it.

Include a note with return address and phone number, the pump, power supply and controller
