Tunze 5017

HI there, is it possible to extend the power outlet to the water pump on the Tunze 5017? Think I need to extend it around 1.5m, is it possible?
Also need to extend the tube on the pump that returns to the sump, another 1.5m though only need around 60cm max head

Can you do it? in the instruction it informs you - (Observe the cable length available; extension is not possible!) though are they referring to the cable to the sensors?

You can extend them but we don't recommend it. When you use a very long hose the pump is often unable to prime itself so you have problems everytime you refill the reservoir. If at all possible try to work with what is delivered.
