I have a 54 gallon corner tank made by All-Glass Aquariums, without a sump and was wondering if this would be too big. I have 55lb of live rock and and I am going to keep primarly LPS and maybe a clam or two would this be to much flow? I currently have a Remora w/mj and 2 mj1200 ( no corals or fish right now). If so would you run that only or still run the mj's as well (I have them hooked up to a Red Sea wave maker now), and where would you place it, in the back pointed toward the glass, etc.?
Another question I have is that I want to purchase the tunze top off unit. I know it says that it can be mounted directly mounted on the tank, Have you guys had any problems mounting them like this rather then in the sump? I would have the water reserve tank below my tank, it would be about five feet from top of the fresh water to the top of the tank. Would this setup work out on my tank.
I know this is alot of questions I just want to do things so that when I upgrade to a bigger tank later I will still have stuff to use.
Thanks for all your help and if anybody has any suggestions or has used any of these products in a similar configuration please let me know how you liked it or did'nt like it.
Thanks Again
