Tunze 6025 broken shaft

Hello, thought I had a bad impellar assembly before I read the thread a couple threads down about a 6025 starting and stopping. I didn't realize the shaft was supposed to stay inside the pump when you pulled the impellar out. The one I have got has broken off inside the pump with just a tiny piece left inside.

Can I send this off for repair and/or can you give me an idea of costs to repair. Its a round cord version with a white plastic bottom on the impellar. Thanks for any help.

Mike

I guess I should add that I just bought a new impellar as the old one looked like it had a missing part or two, for example I found a small metal washer at the bottom of the pump. If the repair is as simple as pulling out the remaining broken piece of shaft with long nose pliars and then just getting a new shaft for it, maybe I can just purchase the shaft for it ????

LMK

Thanks

Mike

Mike, the pump has to be replaced, repair is not possible, please send it in, this is a defect from older pumps and will be covered under warranty.
