tunze 6055 and 7096 ?

ok so i recently got a pair of the 6055's and a 7096 controller, other then having to install software a few times to get it going and had problem with recognizing the usb everything is great, ok now for my question. i hooked everything up then plugged one of the power supplies in and both pumps came on, now i dont have the power supply hooked up on the other pump but it is still working and works in all modes, so basically 2 pumps are operating and only 1 power supply is plugged in. i do have the cables from from both pumps hooked into the pumps and into the controller, is this normal for both pumps to work even though one of them does not have the power supply hooked up ? also is the only place i can order a new face cover for one of these on the tunze site ? any help would be appriciated, and glad to be back in the tunze family

I don't really see how that is possible, I could imagine a very low trickle of current might be able to barely turn the pump, but it wouldn't run at anything near full power and this would likely overload the power supply. You could order the face cover from one of our dealers who takes special orders, Premium Aquatics and Aquarium Specialty both do this.
