Tunze 6055 issue on the motor block

Hi Roger,

To clean my nano stream pump, I soaked it in diluted white vinegar last night. While rinsing it, I noticed that the rubber seal around the hole through which the power cable enters the motor block has perished.

What is the implication of this? Can I still use my pump safely?

Nothing, that is just a piece of tube to cushion the cord and is not part of the seal. It is not terribly important.
