Tunze 6055 Power Supply Unit

Hi Roger,

My dependable Tunze 6055's power supply unit packed in last week. I phoned the distributor here in the UK to order a new power supply unit (6055.240). My old power unit has a switch on its base that enabled me to set the right voltage. The new power unit is different from the old unit. It has a jumper with a red light (see page 20).

Now, this is going to sound very silly, but how do I actually change the voltage with the jumper? Am I going to press it with a sharp object? I did not want to force it in case I broke it. The default voltage was 20V when the unit arrived.

Thank you in advance.

With the power supply unplugged, pry the existing one out, a fingernail should suffice and just push in the new one by hand. They just have two pins and are pretty easy to replace.

Thanks Roger. My new power supply unit came with one jumper only (20V), which was already installed. Should it have come with other jumpers? I noticed that are many volt options in this unit (15 altogether), whereas in the old unit there were only 6 volt options). Will I have to buy all these jumpers separately?

Thanks

In the box with the power supply was a small plastic bag, roughly 1.5" by 3" with 5 other jumpers, there are only 6 jumpers for this model identical to the switch settings.

Thanks Roger. I phoned the distributor and they are sending me a small plastic bag containing jumpers in the post. This was not placed in the packaging.
