My tunze 6055 is acting up. It spins and then stop and then spin and then stop sometime it stops for a long time and then spin for a very long time. I thought it was the impeller so I ordered a new one and when I replace the impeller it still acts the same way. Any idea what is wrong with it? Thanks!

Is it connected to any kind of controller? Also, please double check the power connections. If you have another 6055, swap the power supplies between the two and see if the problem stays with the same pump.

At first, I thought it was the power supply so I bought a new one. It still acts the same way so I ordered a new impeller and still acts the same way. It's hook up to a 7095 controller. I thought maybe the port on the controller is mess up. I moved it around and it still acts the same way. I plugged to the power supply directly and still acts the same way. I am at lost! Thanks for the help!

There's no reference number, just please remember to include your contact information and a description of the problem and what you've already tried. If you want, just mention your username here on RC and I'll look up this thread. Thank you!

Thanks! The pump is in the mail today! I printed our this thread and put it in the box with it.

Great Tech Support! I received the pump back yesterday. I plugged it in and it's still running this morning. I guess the cleaning helps the pump to keep on running. Thanks Craig! I will not hesitate to buy other Tunze products now!

Please send it in and we'll take a look:

Same issue with a 6055, approximately the same age. Pump has been in service it's whole life and just recently started acting up. I have 4 6055s, this one pump pulses no matter which power supply it's hooked to or with or without a controller attached.

Would it be ok to send mine in as well?

Thanks,
Quik
