Tunze 6100 Broken Propeller

Yesterday one of my 6100 pumps started making an alarm noise so I unplugged the pump. Today I noticed the propeller blade had broken off with part of the shaft. I've only had the units about 14 months, are they covered under warranty? If so, how do I get new parts?

Broken propellers usually result from an impact and so they are not generally covered. If you PM me an address I will send you a new shaft and you will just unscrew the prop and strip the other parts and install the new shaft. New parts can be ordered at Tunze.com, from me by phone or Marine Depot. If you are near Fish World in Richmond they also stock parts.
