Tunze 6100 mounting question

Is it possible to mount this thing to face toward the bottom of the tank? I run a BB system that needs direct flow at the bottom, in a back to front motion. I currently have a closed loop doing the job but I would really like to use my stream.

You could mount it facing straight down with the mount off a standard Turbelle Powerhead. This would remove any ability to aim the pump it would just blow straight down from where you mounted it.

Might be able to use a Tunze magnet holder to aim it downward. I aim mine upward with the magnet turned 30-40 degrees.

Roger could you elaborate please...that is what i am looking to do. Can i do what you are talking about with the standard mounting hardware?

The hardware from a standard Turbelle has a different clip, like a money clip. It slides in in place of the swivel arm and clamps onto a bracket. Since the standard turbelle is the same motor block with an impeller and movable base housing the parts interchange. Look at parts 3000.25 and 3060.40 on the Tunze site.
