Tunze 6100 Problems

Hey there,

I pulled my pumps off for cleaning (a pair of 6100's... they are from '05 I believe). I pulled them out, gave them a quick scrub, and then let them soak in vinegar for 24 hours. Pulled out the impellers and let them sit in vinegar seperated again.

After giving everything a good scrub, I put them all back together and plugged it in. The alarm goes off. So I reassembled them, alarm still going off. Pulled them out of the water and removed the cover and tried to spin the impeller as soon as I plugged it in and it didn't spin, and the alarm still went off.

And now, with no impeller in there, the alarm still goes off.

Any idea whats wrong?

Check that everything is installed correctly and clean. Also check that the magnet of the drive unit has no cracks in it. If it is not the drive unit it is probably the motor that has gone bad.
