Right now i have a 75 gal with 2 6000 pumps and the 7095 controller, im looking at buying 2 6105 pumps and use them on the 75 gal till i finish building my 300 gal tank then use both the 6000's and the 6105's for flow in that tank. Now i pretty sure both sides of the magnets are water proof but wanted to make sure as my next tank will be made from either 3/4" or 1" plywood and was planning to make a couple clear hangers from acrylic to put in the tank to mount the pumps on so both magnets would be in the tank.

Yes, both halves are waterproof, however, for the 6105's, optional magnet holder 6205.500 will hold on 1" and swapping the outside half of the included magnet holder for 6205.501 will hold on 3/4".
