Tunze 6201 stops over 30%

Hey Roger.

One of my new Tunze 6201's stopped working properly. It was rattling as if it was trying to start. I unplugged the power and plugged back in with the same sympton. I turned the knob down to its minimal output adn it works ok. When I turn the knob higher, it stops. I took it apart and it was clean. Please advise.

Ed, can you please take a picture of the black AC adapter on your 6201. I have a feeling you have the first 6201 which come with the smaller black box (which is for the 6101). The sooner you post the picture, the sooner we figure out the issue.

If your look like this, you need to send it to Roger to get it fix and he will send you the right piece for your pump.

Surprising me that the black thingy made in CHINA :eek1:

Steve, actually its bigger and not the same as your picture. I have a 6101 and it's what you have.. but the 6201 looks like an older model but a bit larger... like a laptop battery.

Have you check the connection between the small black box and the adapter make sure its not loose? I wish i could help...

Thanks Steve. I have. I unplugged and replugged the power about 15 times. Same symptom.
