Tunze 6205 power supply failed again

HI All,

My Tunze 6205 Power supply has failed again :wall: Just out of warranty and costs nearly $300 to replace. The light is off so assume it is stuffed. This is my second that has died. I did a quick test with my other 6105 power supply and it worked fine.

Is there any way to fix it? is there any internal fuse of something.

Would the smaller 6105 power supply work if the kept the wattage on my 6205 down? This power supply is much cheaper

Sorry for the late reply, the 6300.240 is $186.04. A 6105 power supply would be short lived unless the pump is never run at more than about 70% output. You could check at a local computer store, you need a 90 or 110W 24V laptop power supply with a 2.5 by 5.5 mm tip. Just be sure that it has no slots or fans where salt creep or water could enter, the cheaper ones tend to use fans or have vent slots.
