Tunze 6255 with Stream Rock

As the title suggests, are the 6255's compatible with Stream Rock? Or is there going to be a release of a Rock to be compatible?

Thanks in advance!

The stream rocks will not fit the 6255 and I know of no plans to make one. It would be unlikely as usually the largest pumps are low volume sellers and for just the one model it would be hard to justify the production of another stream rock model. Most of the largest models of pumps go to zoos, aquariums and industrial applications.

Mr Vitko
I have been thinking of using the 6255 wide flow two each end my tank my question is when they say wide flow how wide ? mine will be a reef tank ,also 4 metres long will they do the job or would you suggest a master stream?
thanks

Think of the flow as being like a mushroom cloud, it domes and bounces back when it hits the far end, but this won't happen on a tank that is so long. Conversely if a tank is very narrow, it focuses the flow so it reaches further. In a really large tank without much constraint to width or length the flow should cover about 1.25m in width and 2.25m in length. As for what would be a better, if the tank is SPS, then I think the 6508 would be a better choice, if it was primarily fish and soft corals, the 6255 should do the job, you could always add more if needed.
