Tunze 7095 and 6105 issue on re-start after feed mode

Roger,

When i put my pumps into feed mode via the 7095, ever since I upgraded the jumpers to the 24V, the pumps don't want to re-start. They appear to be trying to turn, but they don't.

When i turn the power off and back on they work fine. This was not an issue when I had the 18V jumpers in the power supply.

Is there an easy fix for this, or am I better off just turning the pumps off when I feed via the DJ switch.

thanks

Eric

I thought this thread was invisible.

Thanks for letting me know I'm not the only person who this has happened too. Did u ever find out what was causing it? Is there a fix?

This is a somewhat complicated issue, it basically has to do with an electric charge disabling restarting and it can stem from the motor, power supply or simply a pump that is dirty, especially where some debris or calcium has built up between the shaft and drive unit. Basically, the pump tries to start, for one of the reasons above the safety circuitry thinks an overload exists and it cycles off and tries again. I would start by making sure the drive unit spins freely on the shaft.
