Tunze 9001 and loose magnets

Hello Roger,

Is there an known issue with the magnets on these skimmers?

I purchased a 9001 before xmas, and sometimes its fine, other times the skimmer lets go of the magnets.

Im not using the silicon spacer between the magnets.

I feel the press fittings aren't very effective. What are my options here?
1. super glue
2. rubber band
3. zip tie?

The key thing is to never drag it with the magnets attached, this will stress these posts and cause them to compress and loose grip. If you move the skimmer, detach the outer magnet and reattach it in the new position. If you email me your invoice and a photo of the issue we would send a replacement body- Tunze at sbcglobal dot net.
