Tunze 9001 Magnet Question

Hello. Setting up a nano/frag tank with the 9001 skimmer. Are the mounting magnets supposed to have the mounts for little gecko foot pads as shown in the install manual or have they changed? My magnets are just circles.

Yes, that is a recent update, a round ring in place of the little feet.

thank you. one more question:
is there an easy way to remove the magnet from the skimmer body? I am placing the skimmer in an all-in-one overflow and thought the dimensions would be opposite. I need to move the magnet to an adjacent side.

It should pull right off, it is just held on by two locking pegs, pull straight back with a bit of effort and it will come off.

Thanks - it was just as you said. You make it so easy to use Tunze products. Running Tunze circ pumps and osmolator in a classroom reef tank, so in setting up our nano-reef/frag tank I was confident in selecting the little skimmer and nano osmolator. Thank you!
