Tunze 9002 - no bubbles

Hey all, newbie here.

My new Tunze9002 isn't producing any bubbles at all, in fact water comes out the air intake. The only other weird thing is that the unit came without the bottom plastic cover (?!), so i've just duct taped that. Works ok, not terribly elegant. I have completely disassembled and reassembled the thing with identical results. Any thoughts?

- Pump works fine.
- No kinks in the hose

I'm assuming something in the nozzle is afu i need a new one.

Yes, the venturi nozzle is defective and your dealer should be able to replace it. If you are in the US, PM me your address and I can send one. The bottom cover is very strange, it should be included but it is not uncommon for it to come off in shipping, though it should be loose in the original box.
