Tunze 9002 no foam at all

Just bought a new tunze 9002 nano.
installed it but no foam at all, only clear water.
The hydrofoam pump acts like a circulation pump.

I took the pump out, simply put the airline in the output of the pump, there is no foam. Only when I blow into the airline will some bubble comes out.

Can anyone help me??? This is a new tunze skimmer!

Please make sure the airline is attached to the clear elbow that connects to the output nozzle of the pump. Make sure there are no bends or kinks and that the airline goes straight up to the inside where the blue screw is. Next, be careful when reinserting the pump: the output nozzle needs to be lined up with the circle hole inside the skimmer body and you need to make sure the airline doesn't kink when putting the pump back in.

Also, try raising the skimmer so the water level is about 3/4 to 1 inch below the blue line.

I'm sorry, not all 9002 have this and it may be a gray or silver line instead. It's a wavy line on the front, about 1/2" down from the top. It is just a suggested water-level mark.

I did the following experiment with the pump only:

1. insert clear elbow to the output pipe, attach output pipe to the pump
2. connect new air line to the other end of the clear elbow
3. put pump below water level while the air line is in the air
4. turn on power and move pump water level up and down

in all cases, the pump just pump water without bubble
