TUNZE 9002 skimmer

Roger,
I just received my skimmer from Marine Depot.
I specifically chose the Tunze over other nano skimmers because of the magnet holder, as well as a few other reasons, but the clean look of the magnet did weigh in. Well, I received mine with the hanger type holder.
I know for a fact that MD has the magnet holder versions available because a fellow reefer who ordered about a month before me received his with the magnet holder.

Sorry for the long story, but will the magnet holder work with my skimmer since it came with a hanger style holder.
If so how can I get magnet holder. I do not feel like going through the bother of returning my purchase to Marine Depot and requesting one with the magnet holder.

Also, when I took the skimmer out of the package I heard a rattle, so I removed the cup and shook out the loose plastic.
Attached is a pic of what was in the skimmer. This part is not present on any of the diagrams. Where does this go?

That is a cable tidy that goes inside the skimmer it's only job is to hold the cable in a neat loop. If you PM me I can get you fixed up on both issues.

I have the older style 9002 with the weird euro brackets so I bought the magnet from Tunze and I can only seem to get one screw to hold the skimmer in place. Be careful the magnet is very strong, ie. smash fingers and crack glass on the tank

Ya thats the reason I orderd mine from marine depot thinking they had a higher turn over rate and I would get one with a magnet. Of course I didnt get one with magnets a let down as the wall were the skimmer went wasnt tall enough to use the brackets. So I endend up adding a peace of acrylic to raise the wall high enough to mount the skimmer. It worked out in the end and so far I can say this is a great little skimmer.
