It has a two year warranty. Most rust issues are due to iron or GFO (which is just pellets of rust) sticking to the magnet and staining it, if the magnet is indeed rusting which will tend to look like a bullseye stain vs flaky deposits on the edges which tend to be picked up particles and it is less than 2 years old, we would replace it. The magnets themselves are ceramic and cannot rust, but they are seated on an iron plate which is coated with polyurethane, that can be breached and can rust.
