TUNZE 9005 Foaming out

Has anyone had the issue of the foam coming out the three little holes on the top cover where the notches are. Is trickling down the sides and making a mess. I tried drying it off and taping it but this only held for a couple of days.

Any Suggestions?

Here is a cool trick that Tunze used to include in the manuals 10 or more years ago. Wipe a thin film of vegetable oil in the inside of the lid near the vent holes. Just dip a paper towel in a bit of oil. The foam will not go out anymore as the oil will break it and cause it to fall back into the cup.
