Tunze 9005 water fluctuation level

Hi all, how low is too low to keep my 9005 working at its best? water evaporation is 1/2 inch below blue waterline in a week. is it still acceptable? thanks

I run mine right at the line with an Osmolator. I have adjusted the water level above and below the line and it seems to work best right on the line. You will just get a drier foam with a lower water level.

It can fluctuate up to 1" below or above the line but will work best with the level kept as constant as possible near the line.
