Tunze 9040

Hello Roger,

I have 85g cube and originally wanted to go with mp10 x 2 for thier low profile look. Then i saw your 9040 which looked very unique. With your pump i can hide the pump behind the rock work. Now to my questions :

- how many pumps do i need for a mixed reef ?
- how quite these are at 100%?
- would 2 x 6020 also work for my tank?

The 6020 will not be strong enough.

They should be very quiet, I have had noise complaints and when that is the case the propeller is out of balance and we will send a replacement.

I would 2-3 6040.

I have another question

I have apex controller. Can i plug in the tunze into the apex directly? Or do i need a module? If yes which module.

You do need a module as I understand it, it would be an Apex module I believe they call the VDM module, you would also need their adapter cables for Tunze pumps.
