I've had a tunze 9200 in my 29 gal biocube for about 4 months now and I've noticed that the weight of it has seemed to have pulled the plastic siding its mounted to a little away from the back wall. Are there any suggestions on how to release some of this weight. I don't want the plastic wall damaged.

Do you mean a 9002? Their is no 9200. I would wonder about the integrity of the wall or how it is glued, once submerged the skimmer is not very heavy and even not submerged it is only a few pounds. Their would be no way to make it lighter, I suspect either the wall is not installed securely or something is pushing on the skimmer adding to the load, perhaps a lid?
