Tunze 9410 problem

Hi,

I have a Tunze 9410 with exposed wiring where the power cord goes into the pump. The inner wires are still intact and has actually run in water without problems but I am sure this is not safe. Is there a way to repair this? Could this be sent back and repaired by you guys. This is out of warranty so will have to be out of my own pocket.

It is only the outer part of the power cord that has been ripped/cracked open. The two wires inside are still protected but visible.

Can i take out the needle wheel from the 9410 and place it in a 1073.02 and use that as the pump for my skimmer? Will it fit?

You can buy just the motor block, 9410.041. It is available on Tunze.com and is in stock in the US.

The 1073.020 has the same basic motor but the volute is not large enough for the needle wheel, it will not fit.
