Tunze AT5000 Chiller: Wrong Temperature Reading

I purchased a used Tunze AT5000 chiller almost 2 years ago and it worked great. I LOVE this chiller so much. We decided to remove the chiller almost a year ago and for that time, it has been sitting idly (empty of water) in the garage.

We decided to pull it out and set it up last night, however, we ran into an issue: The temperature the chiller is reading is WAY off and it starts cooling when it shouldn't. I'm glad we saw this in time because the chiller was stating the water was over 89F and was trying to cool the water to 78F, when in fact the tank water was around 76/77F. I'm not sure what the issue is and how I might go around to diagnosing it.

Should I take it to someone to diagnose/repair?

Is the manufacturer of this chiller still around? I know these are older chillers, so I was unsure.

Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

I live in Austin, TX, FYI.

They were discontinued in 2009, to my knowledge no spare parts or service remains. The manufacturer was Hughes Refrigeration in Olathe KS and his main business was installing industrial refrigeration (walk in coolers, grocery store systems, main frame coolers, etc). If the cooling systems still works, I would simply connect it to an external temperature controller.
