tunze ato error

hey guys my tunze is reading red too high, green level, and red too low. I have tried looking up what this means, but the level is throwing me off. the unit is still pretty new (only a few months old) and has never gotten wet.
whats going on? hopefully someone can chime in and help me out.

Is it all four on, also yellow pump on? All four should come on for a brief moment on start up, I have seen some units cycle on and off repeatedly and this seems to be due to a bad power connection or weak power supply, a new power supply will fix it. I have also seen electromagnetic interference cause some strange display issues.

nope, the yellow will not come on. it also sounds an alarm if that helps. it happens randomly waking me up in the middle of the night for no reason.
it actually happened s i was typing this up, it went and added some water to the tank and then started going off

Is this coinciding with something else turning on, a heater, light, pump? Did you add a new piece of equipment before this started? Can you try it away from the tank in say a kitchen or bathroom with a bowl of water to rule out electromagnetic fields and then if it works we can work on moving these items away from the controller and wiring.

ok i will do your test in the kitchen and see. but nothing has changed, no new equipment. nothing. just one day out of the blue it started.
ill give the test a shot and get back to you

ok so far so good. i have it setup in the bathroom and have been taking it thru the paces today. turning it off and on, taking some water out so it has to refill blah blah. i will keep on with this. it may just take time, some times it doesnt go off for a day or two, sometimes it goes off every few mins (i usually turn it off and back on).
where do we take it from here if things do need to be moved around or plugged into a different outlet?
it is just strange tho, i have had all this equipment where it is since day one and no problem.

There are many possibilities and many possible fixes. It is possible the outlet is the culprit if for example you installed one of those boxes that turns a wall outlet into a phone or internet jack as it is sending that signal through the power line. A large ballast could also send some interference through a plug as could any remote control light switches (Clapper type light switch). A device you have may be acting up, ballasts can emit a greater EMF when a bulb is old or failing. It could be as simple as a new outlet and it could just be moving somethings around. On our end we know of two things we can do. The float switch wire loops inside over the processor, as a result it can serve as an antennae and be bringing the problem frequency right to the processor, it is possible to reroute the float and I can likely walk you through it with pictures. We can also add a capacitor to boost the signal on the board so it is less susceptible to interference but this requires it is sent in.

I have sent you a pm. I run LEDs and the unit is still pretty new. The Internet outlet isn't the case here. Same normal outlet since day one. It worked for a few months and one day didnt, i haven't changed anything with the tank or the house. I have it plugged into a dj surge protector. Should i try a differant outlet on the strip? Perhaps it would be best to try relocating the antenna?

i went and setup the top off on the tank yesterdat afternoon but plugging it into a differant outlet on the power strip. it went off again today, guess changing the outlet isnt going to work.
