Tunze ATO help (3155)

I reciently set up the ATO and it does not seem to be working properly. The pump works fine since it kicks on when I power it up. I'm not 100% sure about the sensor though. I put it in my return section and it has not kicked on and was 100% dry.

I manually topped off to the sensor location, powered it back up and the module is telling me that the tank level is too low. This ATO is brand new, never used until this tank. Any trouble shoot suggestions for now?

It sounds like a sensor issue. Make sure the cord on the sensor is facing up. Make sure the high level float switch has the cord facing down. If high level float is upside down it will not kick on the pump because it thinks the water level is high. I would also make sure u have the float switch in the seperate holder & not in the same holder as the sensor. The only time I would place them in the same holder is if u have them in the tank itself & not the sump.
