Tunze cable and splitter

I was running two Tunze pumps from my Profilux using the GHL cables and splitter. The pumps stopped working recently and i found that one end of the cable and the socket they plug into on the splitter had corroded.

Q. Can i use a standard RJ11 cable to replace these?
Q. Can i use a standard RJ11 splitter?

Is there any test i can do to verify compatibility before i plug them in?

you should be able to just replace the rj11 end on the cable. the splitter on the other hand im not sure how they wired it up. i have cut them apart before but cant remember the pin out. do some research online there may be a pin out available.
