Tunze Comline Wavebox "Just installed" so far not good

So after getting some monster staghorn acro colonies off a friend I realized my tank needed a flow upgrade. The staghorns grew in a 100gallon tank with a tunze "nano" wavebox. The wave it created was over 1'' and it was tiny. So i purchased the latest Tunze comline wavebox and figured I could get the same results in my aqueon 120 gallon mixed reef. After reading the instructions I put the wavebox on the back glass wall (next to the over flow pointing towards front panel). You can barely see the corals swaying but it is creating a small wave. I began wondering if those 2 ugly megaflows where restricting the wave action on the back wall so I moved the wavebox on the right glass panel (centered pointing the length of the tank). This gave me slightly more water movement but nothing like I expected. Even after changing over to the 24volt clip I still am not getting that cool wave action.

Tunze wavebox 6208 rating is (41-200 gallons), I am currently feeling I made a mistake or don't know what I am doing; may be its not positioned correctly! The demos on youtube have 2 6208 wave box on a 3' tank creating large waves. Also, the new comline does not have any fins on the top (so I can't really see how empty the box is). If 1 tunze wavebox can not create at least a 1'' wave in a 120 gallon tank it's not worth $332 plus $25 shipping. I can deal with 1 wavebox in my tank but no way 2.

If anyone has any feedback (tunze comline wavebox 6208) or dialing-in tips please share. If you have experienced similar issues before getting great waves please help. thank you

So anyone reading this: I have figured it out. I wish tunze would have been more clear in there long list of instructions regarding a cap install on the under-side of the wavebox. First problem: the wavebox is more effective when the box is sitting few inch above the water line (something hard to do when the top of the wavebox hits the rim under it's osmolator line). Second, the cap on the underside has no instruction saying "remove". So I did not remove it when i put the box in the tank. I tested it with entire circulation system off (and sump pump off). After playing around with the wavecontroller i was able to get a total wave of about 1'' (even with the wavebox next to the mega-overflow). The wave was slightly higher being on the 2X2 panel; though not so much where I would leave it there. Infact the wavebox is hard to see next to the overflow and black background. My circulation pumps are actually harder on the eyes that the wavebox.

Needless to say I am very impressed with the gentle current that is felt through out my tank with one small pump (in a box). I can see it's great for dead spots.. especially for SPS since it's always flushing there polyps. SPS corals require constant random flow and this ensures that the entire colonies are receiving proper flow.
