7096 requires a windows computer to program it, a Mac version will be ready in a few months. It can do more, including run a wavebox. The 7095 is an older stand alone unit, it will stay in production. It doesn't have all the features of 7096 and costs more, it is mainly for use where a computer is not practical or not wanted.

Not my tank, just stumbled upon the video on youtube. Reviewer gives a pretty good workout and review on the 7096

look like 7096 can do more wave like you can set it at pulse mode which is u can control the pump to run slower speed and faster speed,,night and day mode
with my aqua surl i only can do ON/OFF on each pump,,allday and night
,i can not do slower or faster mode
is there something i missing on aqua sulr? i like that 7906,,
