Well when i woke up this morning i realized something seemed off with my 180SPS. I tracked it down to one of my tunze 6080s not operating. I opened it up to find a snail shell and the propeller loose inside the cover. I can only guess the snail lodged itself in the propeller causing the shaft to snap. I dont use this on a timer so i guess he crawled through 1800 GPH to get in there unless he has been in since my last water change. Any way its only about 2-3months old, I need to see if it can be repaired so i figured this was a good place to ask where to send it. Thank in advance!

Why not just buy the pieces you need? It woould be pretty easy to fix you should just need the shaft provided the screw and prop are intact. This sort of damage is not a manufacturing defect so it isn't covered by warranty. The part is about $7.

OK, you can send it to

Tunze USA
1304 Monica St
Austin TX 78758

In all honesty you will save a few days though if you just order the parts to do it. Please include all contact info if you send it in and I will call when I am finished to arrange payment.

Go through the full break down in the manual. You will remove the break shoes and what is left of the shaft will come off. Unscrew the prop rom the broken end. Save the screw, black ring at the top of the shaft base and the prop and if those are all good you just need part 6080.64.
