Tunze external skimmer set compatability

I just bought a Tunze External Skimmer Set 231.90. I was told it was compatible with my 230/3 skimmer. I just noticed the box states "converts skimmer unit 233/2, 230/2 or 240/2" Is there a difference between 230/3 and 230/2? I haven't heard of the 230/2...an earlier model maybe? I hope it will work but don't want to try until verified!
I have a Tunze 6060 Stream, a 6000 Stream w/controller, an auto top off osmolator...next is the wavemaker! Phenominal products, great piece of mind!

The only difference is the pump, it will work just fine.

Hello again Roger. I got everything set up and then found out I am missing the pre-nozzle part 3110.165 / 210.165 ! JL aquatics in Burnaby BC, Canada does not have one...would it be faster to order direct from you? Thanks

I have them but I am really not supposed to sell into Canada, that is another distributors territory. Please check with the distributor, Phil Gilbert, his web page is www.giesemannlicht.com. We ship parts and supplies back and forth to each other almost weekly so I can get it to him or if it is OK with him I can send it direct to you but because of customs and shipping it is generally better to go through him so he can clear it with other items and save the costs.

One thing to check though is you may have the new one piece 3130.16 venturi and not need the nozzle. Check if it works as is first.

Hi Rger. Does this other venturi require the 1/4 tube from the siphon to be placed in the inlet hole of the pump? The directions do not show anything in regards to what goes where.

Both venturis have the airline nipple attched to them. One is one piece and the older one has a white nozzle inside a brown nozzle.
