Ok I have just aquired a used 240 Glass and looking at getting the water movment on it. There are two main concerns that I have one is the heat I will have 2-3 400w MH lights and a 55 gal sump with a mg 9 powering it. After a meeting and seeing a tunze and reeding some of the comments it dosen't suprise me there are not a lot of used ones on the web so I am needing some new ones which is the other problem the $$. I was wondering what I need for good water flow and what would be least I can start with and then add to? I was thinking of starting with a 6100 then adding a 2nd on the other side latter?

Yes, you could get a single 6100, add another and a 7095 controller later. FWIW, you might want to try to get everything ordered by August 1st as that is when a price increase has been proposed to go into effect. The increase is strictly due to exchange rate, the initial proposal was a 12% increase but since in recent months the rate has improved greatly it may be as little as 7%.

I am new to this stuff so pardon the stupid questions but what is the 7095 for? will the 6100 palse with out it?

OK what is the difference of the 6000 and 6100 will they do the same things? i was looking at marine depot and they have the ts21 and ts24 will the 21 work?

I think you mean TS12. The 6100 and 6000 are the same pump but with different size transformers so you can go back and forth between them by changing the transformers. The TS12 is one pump and a single controller. With two pumps you really are better off having the multicontroller 7095. Without a controller the pumps will run at one constant speed which you can adjust but without a controller you cannot make them pulse.

Ahh, something they made up themselves. That's fine the kits are really made up anyway, their is no discount and they are just a package of seperate items we only use them to illustrate the configurational possibilities in the catalogue. It is not enough flow unless you are doing mainly low flow LPS and softies. The 6000 has a 4ft by 2ft area of flow coverage, the 6100 is 7ft by 2ft.

6200 is a wider flow no greater distance but 30" wide. The 7095 has many more capabilities and is easier to use. It has a built in moonlight program with LED, a new program Interval 2, and the possibility to do very short intervals down to 1 sec.
