tunze for a 60g?

roger,
i have a 60 gallon(48l x 16w x 17t) barebottom sps dominated tank. currently i have 5 powerheads, all hagens, 2-301's, 2-801's and 1-402. i am getting good flow but i hate the look of all these ph's in my tank. i would like to get 1 or maybe 2 streams and eliminate the ph's completely. is my tank too small for the streams?

You could use the 6000 but I honestly think 2 7300/2 on the multicontroller might be better.

so if i positioned each of the 7300/2's on opposite ends of the tank, do you think i will have any "deadspots"?

Not very likely, the flow from the 7300/2 comes out of a 1" nozzle and it pulses like the 6000. The pattern is about 5ft long, cone shaped from 1" to 12" at the end, with the bounce back you out to have plenty of movement. I would just run one pump at a time with tide mode on the multicontroller.
