Tunze Life?

What is the average life span of Tunze Streams under normal use and maintance? I'm thinking of buying 2-6000 with a multi-controler that have been used for a little over a year. If I bought these is there anything I should look at for replacement?

They last about 10 years with good care but like anything you will have to replace parts and do service. It is possible they may need new drive units, just be sure they function when you purchase them and the electronics haven't gotten wet- that is what is expensive, the drive unit (impeller assembly) is onlly $28.
