Tunze nano 6040

Hi Roger - I have one tunze 6040 nano turbelle - I have it set on wave on a 40 gallon tank ... I'm thinking of buying an apex and would like to have the tunze 6040 connected to the apex (only one tunze 6040) - will I still be able to make waves with apex being the controller and can it slow down at night time and goes back to full wave effect in the morning. thanks!

Yes, you would set the 6040's controller to external and connect the Apex to the DIN port on the top of the controller, all settings would then be made on the Apex.
