Tunze nano 9002 Questions

Hi.
I've been considering purchasing a tunze nano doc 9002 skimmer for the system i'm going to be building soon. (10 gallon tank w/ a 10 gallon sump/fuge)
I had a few questions:
1. Is anyone out there currently using this skimmer and if so, could you post some pics of the skimmate production?
2. I'd like to be able to put it right beside my return pump, so for those of you who have/used one, are there any bubbles that come out of the skimmer?
3. Does the water level need to be constant?
4. What is the optimal water level it should have?
5. For those of you who own this skimmer, what is your overall intake on it?
6. Anything else i should need to know?

Thanks!

Stewie-

Let me give you some info on it; I run the Reefpack 200, so I've also got the "particle" filter attached to it; but I have to tell you, I'm quite impressed with the skimmer.

I'm using on a tank in my bedroom; so, I have to tell you I wanted something Quiet. It is. It's actually borderline silent. And it pulls gunk. I have nothing but LR in the tank now; getting ready to close my old tank down, and move stuff in here, and it's pulled 80-90ml of tea-colored skimmate in 4 days. Good stuff.

As far as your questions.

1. I'd be happy to send some pics to you. Keep in mind tho, there's no livestock in the tank, other than LR. PM me with your e-mail address, I'll send you some. I can't ever seem to get pics small enough for RC to accept them.

2. No bubbles after a day or two of break-in.

3. Yes. But, levels should be pretty constant for all skimmers.

4. I run mine from level to about 1/2" below the top "plate" or bottom of the venturi screw. That makes more sense if you see the construction of the unit.

5. My overall impression is great. for small tanks, I think you'd be hard pressed to find something this good, this cheap, this quiet, etc. Plus, It has the service and reputation you get with Tunze. I love the thing.... Now only if it could do water changes for me.. :)

6. Not sure how many there are in the US right now. You may have to ask Roger, or call around to find one. But, it's worth it. I really like the unit.

If everyone was only this helpful on RC, it'd be amazing. :D
Thanks!
