All of a sudden my skimmer just stopped working. I've had it a little over a year and haven't had any problems until now. I have not been able to find my receipt. Please advise on what I should do regarding this issue. Will it be covered under the warranty, how can I get it replaced, etc.

Sorry I'm not able to answer your questions, but I'm just curious what/if you've tried to get it working again? Also, does the pump just not run any more, is it running but not foaming, etc?

The manual (also available in PDF at Tunze.com) will have basic cleaning and maintenance instructions which you should definitely try if you haven't already. Also, some folks here might have some good tips for you if they knew what you've already tried and what symptoms you're seeing.

I have tried doing the basic cleaning. It seems like the pump is broken. The skimmer doesn't do anything, so I am not seeing any symptoms, just a skimmer that is unplugged (even though it is plugged in).
