Can the Tunze Nano Cleaner 3165 be fully submerged in a sump? Sump water fluctuates a couple of inches and the flow deflector might come out of the water during evaporation.
It could be but this would eliminate the surface skimming function and I would worry that water may spray out of the sump if the flow deflector was exposed.
