Tunze nanostream or MJ MOD

It's been about 5 years since i took down my tanks. I am now accumulating equipment that i need to start a new tank.

When i had my tanks running i was using modded mj's, i was wondering it the tunze nanostreams are a better option?

Any advice appreciated.

What size tank? Have you thought about the jebao pumps?

probably gonnna go with a 65 cube, or 57 rimless

I don't think id run the mj mod on a cube tank. I don't think the flow will be broad enough. But I have not tried the newer maxi jets with the conversion.

I bought a pair of the nano streams used, worse comes to worse I can resell em. $50 for the pair.

I also need a pump for a aquaeuro usa classic 135. Bought the body of the skimmer brand new without pump. I was thinking of getting the model that reef octopus uses or a cheaper altman model.

If you already have the pumps. If just run them and see how they work for you. Although not a option you mentioned. I love my vortechs

For skimmer pumps, I really like my bubble blaster pump by coralvue. Not familiar with that skimmer so unsure if you can use it. I know someone that used a mag pump with a volute to replace an atman pump. He's not online anymore. But I think it was a mag 3 or mag 5 he used.
