Tunze Nanostream or newer stream magnet location

Is it safe to place a Tunze magnett inside the overflow? My overflow is glass with a plastic sleeve covering it. I'm curious if anyone has done this and if its safe to introduce that magnet in a "wet" location. Are they sealed to where they will not corrode or leach toxins in the water. I'm trying to not only hide pump placement from view but also provide adequate flow.

I dont see why not. The both magnets are identical and one of them is already on the wetside.

yes, the magnets are identical and sealed so it would be fine to put it into the overflow.
