tunze nanostream

they are great i think..atleast for my 20 long..i think at time i may have to much flow..it seems like my clownfishs somethimesare struggling to swim. my sps love it. i replaced my closed loop with it .

I have two of them. They have been great until recently when one of them had a shaft come loose and its been making a horrible rattling noise ever since. I just heard back from Tunze and they said that if I send it to them they will replace the shaft. So thats cool.

Do you think 2 of them will be OK on 100 gal setup?? Each corner.
Plus all the return nozzles I have.
I don't want to spend a lot. Got to be better then a bunch of power-heads.
Plus they come with there own magnets NICE.

I heard of some issues with noise. I've seen quite a few in use, however. They start off noisy with a low rattle that tends to decrease over time. I would definately get one. they are actually the cutest powerheads ive ever seen. that, plus the COME WITH a magnet holder. thats a bargain, if you really thnink about it. A maxijet is 20 bux. the algaefree magnet is another 30 bux. just a little bit more and you can triple the output and get a better quality product.

nope. check to see if CO's prices match online vendors, or tunze's catalog. I wonder if its above or below, because it should be price controlled. if its below or equal, GRAB IT

the best price i found the nanostream in store for was eye candy aquarium, it was even cheaper than MD i think. but the money i save on that is spent on gas driving out there =/

Marine Depot Just got a bunch and sold out in a few days. I could not believe how quickly they sold. They have more coming soon.

i got two in the corner of my tank just for added flow to the dead spots. NO noise whatsoever. Try seaside aka fishsupply.com

I've had a 6025 for about two weeks now, and I have nothing but positive things to say about it.

Yes, one of my tabs broke off, but it still holds great, can be angled anywhere, is about the same price (or cheaper) than a Maxi-Mod ($30 Maxi, $25 Mod kit, + magenet) Oh, and it is smaller as well!!

i have 2 as well, and they work fine. they get dirty pretty fast with coraline and stuff and look kinda funky.

in other news, the Hydor Korallia pumps are out. I would've bought those instead and saved over $50

I've had noise issues with the one I own; not just the rattling on start up but a consistent and very audible hum.

But as others have said good customer support through the forum here.
