I've had a 6025 for about two weeks now, and I have nothing but positive things to say about it.

Yes, one of my tabs broke off, but it still holds great, can be angled anywhere, is about the same price (or cheaper) than a Maxi-Mod ($30 Maxi, $25 Mod kit, + magenet) Oh, and it is smaller as well!!

The Tunze looks way better and smaller but the Maxi-Mod has alot more flow. Almost triple if Im not mistaken.

The price I see is $99.00 for them. The Nano Streams are only $62.00 and the Tunze is a proven reliable company and products.

wow that hydor pump looks cool. the biggest i think goes 8w for 1200 GPH. very cool. but they have a "suction cup" magnet... meaning that you cant maneuver the unit from the outside. i like that about tunze. and how are they "on sale?" . I heard they arent coming around til feb?

That is a good price. The magnet looks a little small to hold on the thick glass/acrylic of a big tank. I hope not. I wonder it they will have a controller or if it will work with any of the exsisting ones?

the magnet system is not actually that small.. the thing is that it has a suction cup/magnet. im guessing that the suction cup helps to keep the unit stabler than if it used the magnet alone--or vice versa. I'd imagine that if the magnet werent that strong, the suction cup would help out.

laverda how thick is your tank?
the koralia may be cheaper but its bigger and if it breaks hydor is not like tunze with customer service
the nano stream 6055 will really be the pump to see in action 1400gph and controllable
