I just bought 2 6000s and one of them is very quiet while the other isn't so much. Since my tank is in my bedroom I'm always on a quest to make my tank as quiet as possible. The noise isn't terribly loud but I might have to shut it off tonight in order to get to sleep. I read in another thread that it takes a while for new streams to break in and quiet down. How long does this usually take? I also already checked the bush bearing and that doesn't seem to be the problem.
