Tunze osmolator 3155 and microbubbles..issues

Alright I have the 3155 and I am getting micro bubbles on the sensor. It is in the middle chamber of the sump which is the only chamber that has a fluctuating variance of water level. The bubbles are coming from my water over flowing from my refugium. the bubbles never make it to my tank, but they are collecting on the sensor. I cant stop the bubbles from happening, I have tries adjusting the flow, but that did not seem to work, what are my options, or is this not the top off for me?

If the bubbles are minor, a hot soapy water rinse of the sensor may solve the issue, when new the sensor, being plastic, is hydrophobic, it repels water and attracts air. After a few days use or a rinse in hot soapy water, this is greatly diminished. Otherwise a baffle or repositioning of some sort will be needed to protect the optic sensor from excessive bubbles.
